The General Circus class is an open-level class with no prerequisite skills. Students will develop foundational strength, flexibility, and acrobatic competencies while exploring a variety of circus arts, including handstands, tumbling, aerial fabric, trapeze, juggling, and tight wire. Emphasis on foundational technique and skills. Swings, rolls, supports, poses, transitions, strength, and flexibility. Skills taught will depend on the abilities of the group.

Flexibility
Contortion is the art of extreme flexibility, balances, poses, and handstands. Many of the greatest contortion coaches hail from Mongolia. EAC’s own Bud Tumurbaatar has coached award-winning acts that have won at the biggest festivals and performed in shows worldwide. Come stretch with the best! Focus on individual ability, but some group work.
Group Acrobatics
Group Acrobatics is one of our popular classes. By audition—emphasis on foundational technique and skills. Dynamic partner acrobatics and adagio-style tricks are to be included in the curriculum.
Handstands
Introduction to handstand technique. Emphasis on form, strength, and entering/exiting handstand through different shapes. No prerequisites other than being comfortable being spotted and willing to push your limits!
